When we had to move to Ghana,we started worrying about a school to nurture our little girls and this almost stopped us from moving.

Upon finally settling in the country, My husband and I Started looking for the right Montessori for our little girls .

We searched all over and yet was not satisfied with what we found, it was either they didn’t have the right Montessori materials, the environment was not welcoming or lack of Montessori trained teachers.

Then we finally found Bloomings Montessori Plus in east airport and Oh my word! We were incredibly impressed and blown away by the facilities, the environment, the staff and overall the thought and every detail that went into putting together the school.

The best part is their ” Grooming Club” which teaches our girls social graces, courtesies and etiquettes. The girls have become more intentional with their attitudes and very graceful at home. Now, We can rest assured that our little girls are in the right place where they will develop holistically.

We, like every parent want to give our children the best – a lot of love, a joyous childhood and tools to navigate life. An important part of giving the best is making sure that we have a support system of people – family, community and very critically school to make our vision a reality. Research from Harvard University indicates that the brain develops rapidly during the first years of life. Before children turn 3 years old, they’re already forming 1 million neural connections every minute. The links formed becomes the mapping system of your child’s brain, formed by a combination of nature and nurture (Read about it here).

With this in mind – we set out to find a school which isn’t just a day care but provides a prepared environment for our children to flourish. We visited many places and as soon as you stepped foot in Bloomings Montessori Plus we knew we had found the perfect place – a place where staff who are warm and ready to support children on their journey of learning by doing and discovery, a system in place to support and prepare parents in parenting and guiding their children and an environment where children and parents love to be (getting our children to leave is a major challenge – only the promise of coming tomorrow consoles them!).

Our greatest legacy to our children is ensuring that they are well nurtured and equipped with the right tools to tackle life. A lot of this happens unconsciously before three and goes on until age 7.
